Octave of Easter/Divine Mercy Sunday

St Joan of Arc will host its annual celebration of DIVINE MERCY on

April 27 at 3:00 p.m. From the Diary of a young Polish nun, Saint Faustina Kowalska, the message and devotion to Jesus as “the Divine Mercy” was captured.

Jesus asked these things of St. Faustina:

I desire that the Feast of Mercy be a refuge and shelter for all souls especially poor sinners.

On the day of Mercy a whole ocean of graces would be poured out to those who will go to confession & receive Holy Communion.

On that day “Let no soul fear to draw near to me, even though its sins be as scarlet.” Diary entry 699.

Our Program will open with Eucharistic Adoration followed by Readings from Scripture and the Diary of Sr. Faustina.

Fr. Michael Joly will reflect on the message of Mercy and the Chaplet will be chanted.

The service will close with Benediction.

Pope Francis encourages us to pray and take part in Divine Mercy Sunday.

ALL ARE WELCOME and a reception will follow!!!
